Remember Jin? This guy shredded the competition on Freestyle Friday. Nobody was even close to beating him on his way to becoming a member of the 106th & Park Hall of Fame. My favourite battle was week 6 when he faced Skyzoo. Both guys went hard and the "Got Urself A Gun" background instrumental made it extra special. I was shocked when Skyzoo ripped on AJ, but at least he was actually freestyling unlike some of Jin's previous opponents. In the end, Jin ripped him apart like all the others. Jin released some singles after being on 106th and Park but they were all pretty wack. Supposedly, he's a Christian rapper now...
On the other hand Skyzoo recovered from his loss to make underground classics with producers such as 9th Wonder (my favourite hip-hop producer of all time) and the late, great J Dilla. His new album "The Salvation" was released a a few days ago and you can pick it up on iTunes.
