Welcome to 100% Fresh Version 3.0! It seems like forever since my last post but I'm finally back. I designed the blog myself this time rather than using default templates so I hope you all like the new look. Just like my previous blogs, I'm going to post about the things in life that I like: music, sports, fashion, movies, art etc.
Be sure to check out the features on the sidebar. I will update them regularly. I put music playlists on the side so you are always up to date with my current favourites. They mostly contain 30 second clips, but they are there for your convenience just in case you need some new music ideas. You can sign up on imeem to listen to the full tracks.
Anyway enough with the introductions.
Below are 8 things that I've wanted to blog about since my hiatus:
8. Rest In Peace DJ AM
One of the worlds best djs passed away this week. He will be missed. Here's some footage of him performing in Vancouver:
7. Best College Degrees by Salary
I ran into an interesting study about the best college degrees by salary last week. Since it's almost time for school, I thought I would share it with you. You can find the full article HERE.
Seven of the top ten are engineering degrees, so if you're in engineering it looks likes things are looking up for you. I was shocked to see business come in 35th place. Sadly, my degree (communications) came in 45th.
6. Supra TK Society X-Games Edition

Dear Supra/Terry Kennedy,
Please release these sneakers to the general public. Or contact me and send me a pair of size 10s. I don't know if a lot of people would rock them, but I definitely would.
Thanks,
Raf

5. Child Please
This is my favourite quote of the year. You can always count on Ochocinco to provide the goods.
4. Star Wars: The Old Republic
I usually make fun of people who play MMOs but this game is looking very impressive so far. It's one of my most anticipated games for 2010. Here's the first part of a 20 min preview/walkthrough by IGN:
3. Vanessa Hudgens Fan
I found this video hilarious and disturbing at the same time. Please tell me that this is the only kid in the world who is like this....
2. Pitchfork Top 500 Tracks of the 2000s

Pitchfork recently released their top 500 tracks of the past decade. If you're not familiar with Pitchfork, it's a website filled with music reviews, artist interviews, videos, and other music-related news. Although their range of genres have been more widespread in recent years, their main focus is still on independent music so I was surprised by some of the songs that made their list. While browsing through their selections, I enjoyed hearing past favourites that I had forgotten about (like tracks #79, #23, and #17). Have a look at the list and maybe you'll feel the same. Check out the top 20 HERE.
1. End of Summer Music
I know it's sad, but there's only one week of summer left. Here's some songs that will hopefully end your summer on a happy note. I wanted to share tracks that are different from the standard Drake, Kings of Leon, Jay-Z, David Guetta songs that seem to be dominating the airwaves. I got nothing against those artists (check out my current charts if you don't believe me), but you gotta mix it up sometimes.
Til the next episode... Peace
Raf
